Meet the milk

Our Hazel Quench is a light and creamy coconut milk with a hint of hazelnuts. It’s a refreshing nutty milk that works perfectly on it’s own and also in cooking. Hazel Quench has a unique nutty flavour that has depth and character unlike any other milk on the market.

What’s in it?

We carefully blend filtered water with coconut milk and activated hazelnuts to create the perfect base. We then add a little brown rice and pinch of salt – that’s it! No nasties here or in any of our products.

Why activated hazelnuts?

We activate our nuts so they are better for you and your body. Activating nuts involves soaking the nut for an extended period of time in order to start the germination process and to remove many of the harmful toxins. Raw nuts contain compounds known as phytates/ phytic acid. Phytates inhibit our ability to absorb important nutrients and minerals including zinc, iron, magnesium and calcium. Soaking (known as activating) the nuts helps to reduce/neutralise the phytates meaning our bodies can absorb all of the beneficial nutrients.

We absolutely love enjoying our Hazel Quench in our morning coffee as the nuttiness pairs perfectly with coffee and it froths so well!
