Have you ever made blondies? They are the hugely underrated and incredibly tasty cousins to brownies. Soft, dense and gooey these Almond Butter Blondies are amazing. You can really taste the almond butter coming through. Made with our brand new almond spreads, they have a rich nutty flavour that is deeeeelicious!

Are you an almond butter or peanut butter fan?

1 cup almond butter
2 eggs / flax eggs
1/2 cup rice malt syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil / vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup gluten free flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 block chocolate, chopped

Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.

In a bowl mix together the almond butter, oil, vanilla, rice malt syrup and eggs. Add the flour, baking powder and sea salt. Stir into a thick batter.

Spoon into the baking dish. Sprinkle over the chocolate and gently press into the batter.

Bake 18-22 minutes depending on how gooey you like your brownies. The centre should still be slightly soft.
