Golden Crème Brûlée
Golden Crème BrûléeServes: 4-5
Well this recipe is just epic, if we do say so ourselves! Delicious, golden and silky smooth Golden Crème Brûlée from Jess over at Mindful Moose.
Add the Golden Quench Coconut Milk to a saucepan on low-med heat.
In a small bowl, whisk together the additional 2 tbsp Golden Quench Coconut Milk with the cornstarch.
Add the rice malt syrup to the saucepan, whisk to combine. Then add the cornstarch mixture and whisk continuously for 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy. Keep in mind it will thicken as it sets in the ramekins.
Divide the mixture evenly and let cool. Place in the fridge for a few hours. When you're ready to serve, take your brûlée torch and add 1 tbsp of sugar evenly to each of the ramekins, then melt the sugar and let cool to form a hard caramel. Look up some how-to videos if you're unsure how to do this.
If you don't have a torch, this can be just enjoyed as a golden spice custard.
