4 cardamom pods
smashed with the back of a spoon
4 slices fresh ginger
1 cinnamon quill
1 star anise
4 cloves
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsps tea
your choice of tea (black is traditional but you can make a lovely caffeine free version using)
1 cup (or milk of your choice),
1 tsp (optional, to sweeten)

Place spices and tea in a small saucepan with one cup of water.

Bring to the boil, and allow to simmer for a few minutes.

Add the Coco Quench and bring back to the boil.

Strain into a cup and add honey to taste if you so desire. We hope you enjoy!
