Tahini Slice was a favourite in my household growing up! There’s something about the creaminess and richness of Tahini that works so well in sweet treats. This slice has an added flavour of the chocolate and makes for the perfect afternoon pick me up, or sweet treat to enjoy alongside your morning coffee.

Preheat oven to 160°C and line a square cake tin.
Mix the Tahini and Rice Malt Syrup in a small bowl and set aside.
In a medium sized bowl mix the muesli, coconut, oats, salt and cinnamon.
Stir in the tahini and Rice Malt Syrup mixture and mix until well combined. If the mixture appears a bit dry add some hot water, as needed.
Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the cake tin and cake for approx. 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden.
Remove from oven and allow to cool. Once cool cut into squares.
While cooling, melt dark chocolate in a double boiler.
To coat the muesli squares, lay the squares on baking paper. You can then choose to drizzle, half dip or completely coat them in the melted chocolate – it’s up to you!
