Snickers Protein Squares
Fancy a high protein sweet treat? Then look no further, these peanut butter “snickers” protein bars are packed full of healthy protein and wholesome nutrients.
In a food processor blitz the almonds to form a course meal. Add the dates, water, protein powder and cacao and blitz until well combined.
Halve the mixture. Spoon one half of the mixture into a square baking tin (lined with cling film for baking paper).
In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter and rice malt syrup to form a kind of paste.
Spread this paste over the top of the bottom later.
Spoon and press the second half of the mixture on top of the peanut butter layer.
Melt the chocolate and pour over the top of the slice.
Place in the fridge and let set for at least 4 hours.
