Forrero Rocher inspired raw, indulgent, vegan and date free truffles. These dark chocolate hazelnut truffles tick all the boxes. Perfect for all the dark chocolate fans out there. Not too sweet, just a perfectly balanced nutty dark chocolate truffle.
Put all the ingredients for the truffle filling into a food processor and blitz for about 2 minutes or until it comes together in to a crumbly, slightly sticky mixture.
Taking about 1 large tablespoon of mixture at a time press firmly with your hands to shape into a ball. Repeat this with all the mixture until you have about 16 balls. Place in the fridge to chill slightly while you melt the chocolate.
Melt 100g of dark chocolate until smooth and runny. Dip each ball into the dark chocolate until evenly coated. Before the chocolate sets completely sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature before transferring to an airtight container and storing in the fridge or alternatively wrap up and gift to friends and family.
