Unique Ways To Use Oat Milk
Oat milk is making waves around the world and is being touted as one of the best plant milks for coffee according to many baristas. Due to it’s mild flavour and creamy texture is pairs beautifully with coffee and we are personally huge fans of an oat milk latte.
We have two wonderful PureHarvest oat milks and our newest one, Oat Creamy, is becoming a firm favourite among our customers. If you’re only just getting familiar with oat milk, we want to share with you some amazing ways in which you can use it, not just in your tea or coffee. Keep in mind though it tastes incredible in both tea and coffee!!

Use it as a bath soak
Oats are incredibly nourishing and hydrating for the skin. In fact many luxury beauty brands incorporate oats in their ingredient lists for this exact reason. If you are prone to dry skin or are simply looking for some simple, at home treatments to spice up your self care routine why not try adding a splash of oat milk along with some aroma therapy oils to your next bath. You’ll hop out feeling silky smooth and hydrated.
Bake/Cook with it
Perhaps not the most unusual of suggestions here but oat milk is a wonderful addition to your baking and cooking repertoire. Due to it’s mild, pleasant flavour it works incredibly well in both sweet and savoury dishes. Check out some of our favourite recipes using Oat Milk, below.
Skincare – at home face mask
In a similar way that you can add oat milk to your bath, why not kick up your at home skincare routine with a homemade face mask. There are so many incredible recipes online for at home face masks, it’s something fun to do and won’t break the bank. If you’ve got some oat milk in the fridge, why not use it to make a nourishing and hydrating skin treatment. Try this simple recipe for a nourishing, simple and cheap at home face mask that will leave your skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth.
Oat Milk Face Mask
- 1 tbsp ground oats
- 1 tbsp oat milk
- small drop of your favourite face oil
Mix the ingredients together in a small clean bowl and then spread across your face. Leave it on for 5 – 10 minutes and then wash off with warm water.
